To facilitate candidates appearing for the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination, the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) and the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) have announced an early start for metro services. 

On Sunday, June 16, 2024, metro services will commence at 6 am instead of the usual 8 am.

According to NMRC’s Managing Director Lokesh M, “To facilitate the candidates appearing for the UPSC civil services (prelims) examination scheduled on June 16 (Sunday), the passenger's carriage services will start at 6 am instead of 8 am and run at an interval of 15 minutes on the Aqua Line.”

This adjustment is aimed at ensuring candidates reach their examination centres on time. The early start and the 15-minute frequency will help alleviate any potential rush and provide smoother commutes.
