Ibalarilin Lyngdoh, a research scholar from the Department of Economics at USTM, was honored with the Young Social Scientist Award at the International Seminar on "Fifty Years of Social Science Research (1974-2024): Assessing the Achievements, Trends, and Directions." The seminar was jointly organized by NEICSSR and Pandu College, Guwahati, held on March 15th-16th, 2024. Among 140 presenters, she emerged as one of the top 3 social scientists. Her recognition included a cash prize of Rs.5000, a memento, and a certificate. The title of her paper was "Disparities of Health Care Outcomes in India: A Case Study of Major States."
