National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has finally announced the new date for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 examination. This year, the examination is scheduled to be held on August 11, 2024 in two shifts.

Earlier, the NEET PG 2024 was initially scheduled for June 23, but it was postponed by the Health Ministry as a precautionary measure.

The exam is being delayed as corrective measures were taken under the new leadership of the National Testing Agency (NTA), now headed by former ISRO Chairman K Radhakrishnan.
