IIT Kanpur has developed a unique surveillance drone which will be totally powered by solar energy. The drone has been named as ‘Maral’, which will mainly cover aerial monitoring capabilities,offering a unique solution for surveillance needs.

 

The Maral drone has well equipped surveillance facilities and has well established solar panels. This cutting-edge drone harnesses sunlight to power its flight, ensuring extended operational duration without relying on traditional fuel sources.

 

This drone has ability to soar up to, 5 kilometers.  It helps in capturing continuous images for an impressive 10 to 12 hours, this drone offers unmatched endurance and efficiency in monitoring activities on the ground.
