still-searching-for-a-better-college-and-getting-depressed-listen-to-what-elon-musk-mentioned-in-this-video
In a recent tweet, Elon Musk, the world’s richest person with a net worth of $242 billion, recently stated that "college is overrated." He wrote this while sharing a video of himself on X (formerly Twitter), where he was expressing his long-standing views on the diminishing value of traditional education.

The video was from his first solo event in support of Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential campaign, held on Thursday, to encourage Philadelphia suburb voters to register and vote early.

During the event, Musk pointed out that many people spend years in college, only to accumulate debt without gaining practical, useful skills. He remarked, "I think the value of a college education is somewhat overweighted. Too many people spend four years, accumulate a ton of debt and often don't have useful skills that they can apply afterwards."

Elon Musk himself holds degrees in physics and economics, he firmly believes that a four-year degree isn’t necessary for success.

He spoke on the importance of practical skills and acknowledged that hands-on jobs like electricians, plumbers, and carpenters play a much more crucial role than some academic degrees.
