This story is all about, IFS Officer Arushi Mishra, a name like the two sides of the coin with dedication and excellence, recently took her followers on a nostalgic trip down memory lane by sharing an old photograph of her UPSC preparation days. The image, which Mishra shared on Instagram, offers a rare glimpse into the life of an aspirant who has now achieved remarkable success in the Indian Foreign Service.

The picture captures a room transformed into a war room of sorts for study—walls adorned with a world map, books stacked high in drawers, and a cluttered study table. Amid the organised chaos are newspapers, a laptop, and essentials like a bottle of Glucon-D for that extra boost of energy, alongside packed food in a tiffin.

With a simple yet poignant caption—“Exam preparation time. Room. Table. Bed. Food. Curtain. Targets. #throwback”—Mishra encapsulates the essence of the relentless grind that characterises UPSC preparation.

Aarushi Mishra, hailing from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, has always been a beacon of academic prowess. Her journey began with stellar performances in school, scoring 95.14 percent in ICSE and 91.2 percent in CBSE, followed by a B.Tech from IIT Roorkee. Her path, marked by hard work and determination, culminated in her success in the UPSC exams, propelling her into the prestigious Indian Foreign Service.
