In an update mentioned, The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the reserve list for the Civil Services Mains Examination (CSE Mains) 2023, as requested by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).

A total of 120 candidates have been recommended, including 88 from the general category, 5 from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 23 from the Other Backward Classes (OBC), 3 from Scheduled Castes (SC), and 1 from Scheduled Tribes (ST), to fill the remaining vacancies based on the Civil Services Examination.

 

The UPSC CSE 2023 results were announced on April 16, 2024. At that time, the commission recommended 1,016 candidates for appointments to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and various other central services and Group A and Group B vacancies.
