Although there isnt a fixed uniform or formal dress code, candidates must adhere to specific guidelines to ensure the examination runs smoothly.

These rules aim to maintain fairness, enhance security, and minimise delays during entry and frisking, and ensure a hassle-free exam process from January 22 to 30.

Here's an overview of the JEE Main 2025 dress code for male and female candidates:

JEE DRESS CODE FOR MALE CANDIDATES

  • Avoid clothing with metallic elements such as buckles or embellishments.
  • Do not wear caps, mufflers, or any head coverings.
  • Choose lightweight, breathable clothing suitable for the season.
  • Jewellery and accessories, including goggles, rings, bracelets, or chains, are not permitted.
  • Shoes with thick soles are prohibited; simple footwear is recommended.

JEE DRESS CODE FOR FEMALE CANDIDATES

JEE EXAM DAY ESSENTIALS

The JEE Main 2025 admit card will be released on January 19, 2025.

  • Admit card
  • Passport-size photo
  • A valid photo ID

Strict rules prohibit mobile phones, electronic devices, and other unauthorised items in the exam hall. The NTA will enforce thorough security checks, including post-bathroom frisking, to maintain exam integrity.
