Ishita Kathore, continuously failed twice in her prelims, later passed with AIR 1

However, with her consistency and never-give-up attitude, she went on to become the topper with AIR-1 in her third attempt.
Ishita Kishore was born in Begumpet, Hyderabad, to a Commander in the Indian Air Force and a private school teacher mother.
She attended the Air Force Bal Bharti School in New Delhi. Later, she went on to pursue her graduation in Economics with Honours from the Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) of Delhi University.
After her graduation, she got her first internship at Maharatna company GAIL Limited. However, her heart was with UPSC and Civil Services was her inner call. So, she decided to quit her high-paying job and start preparing for the Civil Services Exam (CSE).
In her first two attempts, Ishita Kishore could not even clear the Prelims. However, she started dedicated 9 hours daily to her preparation diligently. She appeared for her third attempt in 2023 and cracked the exam with All India Rank-1 to become an IAS officer.
