The SAI RNS Academy from Dispur has been reportedly, disaffiliated by the Central Board of Secondary Examination(CBSE) for allegedly committing several malpractices. The school allegedly, presents dummy students, ineligible candidates and non - maintenance of proper records.

On the otherhand, Sreeram Academy in Barpeta, Assam has been downgraded by CBSE, along with other schools from Delhi and Punjab.
