du-to-offer-re-evaluation-for-law-students-will-extend-to-other-courses

Delhi University (DU) will introduce a re-evaluation option for its law students, allowing them to apply for reassessment of their answer-sheets-a facility previously unavailable. According to university officials, this option will be implemented for LLB students starting next academic year. It will gradually expand to include students from management, medicine, and other professional courses.

Most undergraduate and postgraduate courses at DU already offer the option for re-evaluation.

The Faculty of Law at DU, with over 10,000 students, will be the first to benefit from the re-evaluation facility. Currently, DU charges Rs 1,000 per paper for re-evaluation and Rs 750 per paper for rechecking, which involves only a recount of marks without reassessing the answers.

Students can also obtain copies of their answer sheets at Rs 1,000 per paper. These charges apply uniformly across all courses and are subject to periodic revisions, as stated on DU's website.
