parents-should-not-pressurize-children-to-engage-in-extra-classes-during-summer-break2
Summer is here, and soon all schools and colleges will start their summer break. And with it comes the pressure to keep children occupied and engaged during their break from school. Parents are often faced with the dilemma of whether to enroll their children in coaching classes during this time. The pressure to excel academically and secure a competitive edge has led many parents to believe that continuous learning during vacations is essential for their child's success. While the intention behind enrolling children in vacation coaching classes may be well-meaning, it is crucial to consider the potential drawbacks of this practice.

Children need time to relax, play, and explore their interests outside the academic realm. By constantly engaging in structured learning activities, they may not have the opportunity to develop essential life skills, creativity, and social interactions that are equally important for their growth

When children engage in unstructured play, they have the freedom to explore their interests, creativity, and imagination. This type of play allows them to make their own decisions, problem-solve, and learn to socialise with their peers. Unstructured play also fosters independence and self-confidence as children navigate and create their own play experiences.
