The Indian Army has started recruitment process for the post of Agniveer under the Agnipath Scheme in Assam.  The Indian Army is seeking applications from unmarried male candidates from Jorhat, Majuli, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Golaghat, Sivasagar, Charaideo, Dhemaji and Lakhimpur districts of Assam for the post of “Agni-Veer”.
