In a recent updates, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for fresh admissions and re-registration for the July 2024 session to September 20, 2024 on the official website. This extension applies to all programmes offered in Online Distance Learning (ODL) and online mode, except for semester and certificate-based courses. Students can complete their applications on the official website, i.e.,onlinerr.ignou.ac.in.

According to a post on the platform X, IGNOU confirmed that the re-registration deadline has also been extended until September 20, 2024, with a late fee of Rs 200. This is the second extension granted by the university, as the previous deadline was set for September 10.

Applicants can apply for various undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate courses through IGNOU’s ODL and online portals. Current students who need to re-register for the upcoming semester or academic year can do so via the re-registration portal.
