CUET centers are requested to increase in Barak Valley by Assam Government.

Assam Education Minister of Assam Ranoj Pegu has written to the National Testing Agency (NTA) requesting additional examination centers for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) in Barak Valley.

The Barak Valley in Assam comprises three districts: Cachar, Karimganj, and Hailakandi. All the colleges in these districts are affiliated with Assam University, located in Silchar. However, there is only one CUET exam centre available in Silchar.

 

This limited availability has posed a significant challenge for students, as they are required to travel to distant locations for their exams.
