USTM students wins a cash prize of Rs 50,000 for their innovative idea
A team from USTM, led by Dr. Sudarshana Borah Khanikor, Vice Principal and Associate Professor of the School of Pharmaceutical SciencesUSTM, has secured the First Prize at INNOVATE-A-THON 1.0 for their innovative start-up idea, ‘Formulation of a Chewable Dentifrice.’ Gouranga Baruah,Lobsang Tashi, and Riya Salam participated in the competition.
The team has signed an MOU as an Incubatee with AIC NIPER Guwahati Foundation, marking a significant journey. The event was organized by the ATAL INCUBATION CENTRE, NIPER-GUWAHATI FOUNDATION and supported by the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, Govt. of India. The signing took place in the presence of the Director NIPER Guwahati, CEO, and Board of Directors of AIC NIPER Guwahati Foundation, Assam.
The team also received a fund of Rs. 50,000 from AIC NIPER Guwahati Foundation to support their innovative venture.
