The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced a recruitment drive to fill 182 civilian posts across its various stations and units. The application process for this Indian Air Force recruitment drive began on August 3 and will continue until September 3.

This recruitment initiative offers opportunities in several positions, including Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver, and Hindi Typist.

Age limit and eligibility criteria

Applicants for this Indian Air Force recruitment drive must be between 18 and 25 years old. Each position has specific educational and skill requirements:

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Intermediate degree in any stream and typing skills in English with a minimum speed of 35 WPM.
• Hindi Typist: Completed Class 12 and typing skills in Hindi with a minimum speed of 30 WPM.
• Driver: Completed Class 10, Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) or Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license, and at least 2 years of driving experience.
