Kerala to enhance teacher training and address mid-day meal burden
The Kerala government unveiled a series of strategic measures on Sunday aimed at improving the quality of education by providing top-notch training for school teachers and alleviating the financial strain of running the mid-day meal scheme.
State General Education Minister V Sivankutty highlighted the importance of these initiatives, calling for teachers' cooperation and labeling any refusal to participate as 'cruelty' towards students. He underscored the need for adherence to the 220-day academic calendar mandated by the Kerala Education Rules and the Kerala High Court, emphasizing the goal of enhancing students' learning outcomes.
