Check the list here for the students who made us proud in the 54th International Olympiad
Indian students have made the country proud by securing a total of six medals at the 54th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) and the 56th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) 2024.
The events, held from July 21 to July 29 in Isfahan, Iran, and from July 21 to July 30 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, saw remarkable performances by Indian participants.

INTERNATIONAL PHYSICS OLYMPIAD are
At the IPhO, India achieved two gold and three silver medals. The medal winners are:
Rhythm Kedia (Gold) – Raipur, Chhattisgarh
Ved Lahoti (Gold) – Indore, Madhya Pradesh
Akarsh Raj Sahay (Silver) – Nagpur, Maharashtra
Bhavya Tiwari (Silver) – Noida, Uttar Pradesh
Jaiveer Singh (Silver) – Kota, Rajasthan
India was placed fourth overall, tied with Vietnam. China secured the top spot, followed by Russia and Romania.
A total of 193 students from 43 countries competed, with 18 gold, 35 silver, and 53 bronze medals awarded.
The Olympiad included theoretical problems and experimental tasks focusing on global warming, ion trapping, and binary star dynamics.
