• Candidates must arrive at the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the start of the examination.

• A scribble pad will be given to the candidates for rough work during the exam. The scribble pad must have the name and registration number of the candidate

• The GATE brochure mentioned that candidates will be permitted to get the allotted seats prior to 40 minutes before the scheduled start.

• Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of schedule.
