NEET UG 2025 results will be declared in all centers except 11 in Indore
The Madhya Pradesh High Court has allowed the National Testing Agency (NTA) to go ahead and declare the NEET UG 2025 results, but with a key restriction. The NTA cannot release results for 11 exam centres in Indore that were affected by a power cut on exam day, May 4.
This decision came after a petition was filed by a student who claimed her NEET UG performance was disrupted due to the outage. Earlier, the court had paused the announcement of NEET UG results 2025 across the country until the matter was heard.
The justices pointed out that only 11 centres in Indore were impacted, and there was no reason to delay the results for the rest of India. They requested that the NTA be allowed to release NEET results for all unaffected centres so that students don’t miss out on counselling.
On the other side, the petitioner’s lawyer argued that if she didn’t get a timely re-exam, she might miss the NEET UG 2025 counselling process.
The court finally ruled in favour of the NTA’s request, saying: “The respondents may be allowed to declare the results for all the other centres in India, except the affected centres at Indore, in which the power failure was faced by the students.”
