neet-pg-2024-window-to-resign-seats-of-rounds-12

NEET PG 2024 candidates can now resign seats allotted in rounds 1 and 2 of counselling, as per a recent notification from the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

The decision follows grievances submitted by candidates. The resignation window will remain open until 6 pm on December 26, 2024, allowing candidates to vacate their seats if they choose.

Candidates allotted seats in round 2 who attended but now want to resign can do so by forfeiting their security deposit within the stipulated deadline.

Those upgraded in round 2 and joined their new seat but wish to resign may also vacate their seat with forfeiture of the security deposit by December 26.

Resignation must be done physically at the allotted college, and candidates must ensure their resignation letter is generated online through MCC's official portal.

MCC clarified that resignations without an online-generated letter will be considered invalid.

Visit the official MCC website and log in with your credentials.

Navigate the resignation option and ensure your resignation letter is generated online.

Physically visit the college you were allotted to submit the resignation.

Collect acknowledgement of your resignation from the institution.

Ensure your resignation status is updated on the MCC portal to avoid any discrepancies.
