IIMK welcomes 586 students, records 51% women in MBA programmes
The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has inducted 586 students into its full-time postgraduate programmes for the academic years 2025-2027. In a notable achievement, the institute has reported 51% gender diversity across its three MBA offerings, marking the fourth time in a decade that it has admitted more women than men in its full-time MBA cohort.
The flagship Postgraduate Programme (PGP) 2025–27 batch, also known as PGP-29, comprises 489 students, 55% of whom are women. This number stands out against the 36% share of women among CAT 2024 applicants nationally.
Apart from the PGP, the institute also welcomed new batches for two specialised programs—the Post Graduate Programme in Finance (PGP-Fin) and the Post Graduate Programme in Liberal Studies and Management (PGP-LSM), as well as the 19th batch of doctoral candidates under the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM).
