Assam’s Education Minister, Ranoj Pegu, has informed that Samagra Shiksha Assam has published the list of candidates who have qualified the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and are shortlisted for assistant teacher positions.

The next phase involves document verification, scheduled from October 29 to November 1, 2025, at the State Mission Office, SSA, Kahilipara.

In a statement on social media platform X, Minister Pegu emphasized that the verification process is being conducted in accordance with directives from the Gauhati High Court. Successful candidates will be considered for contractual appointments as assistant teachers in Lower and Upper Primary Schools.

Candidates are advised to visit the official Samagra Shiksha Assam website to check their group allocation, verification schedule, and detailed instructions.

The official notice clarifies that the verification is in response to court orders linked to prior writ petitions against Advertisement No. SSA/TT/Engagement of AT/328/2020/2609. Candidates must attend the verification on the specified date and time with original documents and a set of self-attested photocopies.

No individual communication will be sent regarding the schedule, so candidates should regularly check the official website for updates.
